In anticipation of his return to Hong Kong, Currie is concentrating on managing his weight

Currie's focus ahead of his Hong Kong return is on weight management, aiming to optimize his competitive edge in the demanding racing scene. He emphasized his commitment to maintaining a lower weight, indicating that he has worked to ensure he can ride at 54 kg in the first week back in Hong Kong. "I've come home to have a few weeks off then have a working holiday and just get the weight down so I can go back there as light as possible," Currie shared.

Commenting on his preparations, Currie acknowledged the importance of a strong start upon his return to Hong Kong. "You've got to try and start off well there," he emphasized, citing his aspiration to achieve a more favorable beginning to his upcoming racing endeavors.

Among his Valley rides, TAB has identified Mansiere as Currie's prime contender for victory, with the odds narrowing from $5 to $4.20 in the early betting for the Membership On Sale Plate (1200m).
