With barely a few days remaining in Europe's summer transfer season, Manchester City appears to have found a replacement for Riyad Mahrez.

Rennes and city are rumoured to have reached an agreement for the signing of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku, who would cost the English and European champions 65 million euros ($71 million), assuming a medical is successful.

Neither team has made an official statement regarding the probable move.

Doku, 21, is a quick and skilled winger who has been with Rennes since 2020. He had previously played for Anderlecht.

After selling Riyad Mahrez to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli last month, City has been looking for an additional attacker to add to their roster.

City's two additions this summer window have been defender Josko Gvardiol and midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
