PSG sensation Kylian Mbappé won't leave the team for free, according to Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

The France international has a contract with the club through the summer of 2024, but according to many sources from last month, he notified them that he would not exercise his option to extend until 2025.

Moreover, PSG's president hinted that Mbappé may have to be sold during this current transfer window due to his stance.

"Our position is solid. Mbappé will not depart for free. That is just not feasible. "The best player in the world leaving for free is not going to happen," he stated during the presentation of new coach Luis Enrique.

Kylian Mbappe says he wont leave on free transfer

"Kylian has also stated that he will not leave for free, so if he has changed his mind, it is not my fault." But, again, he will not depart for free. If he wants to stay, he must renew."

Mbappé has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid for the past 18 months.
