Bayern can now prepare for life without the Senegalese international after reaching an agreement with Al-Nassr for a price estimated to be between €25 million and €30 million. It is a departure that has saved Thomas Tuchel's side €24 million in salaries, which may be used to fund a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Sadio Mané: "Leaving FC Bayern hurts me. I would have wished for a different ending. I know that I could have helped the team this season. I wanted to prove it to everyone this season. Nevertheless, I only wish the club and the fans the best for the future" [@Plettigoal] pic.twitter.com/V48y3WSQD8

Nonetheless, while this was always a possibility for Bayern, Mane had hoped to stay in Bavaria and battle for a spot in the team. However, under pressure from Bayern's leadership, the 31-year-old reluctantly left for greener pastures.
Mane's yearly pay would rise to €40 million after he agreed to join Al-Nassr. " It hurts me to say goodbye to FC Bayern," Mané told Sky Germany of his impending exit from the Rekordmeister. I would have preferred a different conclusion. I know I could have helped this squad this season. This season, I wanted to show it to everyone. Nonetheless, I wish the team and its fans all the best in the future."
Mané went to Dubai after the Bayern Munich group departed Tokyo for Singapore on Sunday morning. The transfer is expected to be finalized in the coming hours, capping off a disappointing and tragic tenure in Munich for the Senegalese forwards.
