Authorities are questioning the two men in connection with allegations of alleged discrimination and racial statements made in 2021, which surfaced in April, purportedly through former Nice sporting director Julien Fournier. Galtier had already disputed the charges with 'the utmost firmness' and filed a libel suit.

According to the Paris Daily, the claims came when emails documenting a conversation between Galtier and Fournier in which the ethnic and religious mix of the Nice squad was addressed leaked.
Fournier, who has a long-running quarrel with Galtier that led to both men leaving Nice last year, denied being the source of the original leak and was also questioned about the matter back in May. Former Nice coach Didier Digard and club president Jean-Pierre Rivère have both spoken to authorities about the claims.
PSG will name Luis Enrique as head coach in the coming days.
