Jurrin Timber, a highly-rated Ajax defender, has joined Arsenal.

Timber joins Kai Havertz and Declan Rice in going to the Emirates Stadium this summer in a rumored £40 million deal.

The Dutch international won back-to-back Eredivisie titles with Ajax and was named Player of the Year in 2022.

He was also a rising star for his country, appearing in every game during their journey to the World Cup's round of 16 last season.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich have previously been mentioned as possible suitors for the 22-year-old.

But, as Mikel Arteta attempted to improve his team, the Gunners moved fast to add Timber to their hat-trick of summer signings.
