According to Sky Sports, the transfer cost is close to 1270 crore in Indian rupees, making it one of the most expensive transactions in history if the deal goes through.

Al Hilal has also made many European acquisitions, including Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibay, Portuguese Ruben Neves, and Serbian Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Chelsea, Lazio, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, respectively. They have also added former Barcelona winger Malcolm to their attacking ranks.
Most recently, it made a €300 million (£259 million) approach for Paris St-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, which the Ligue 1 club accepted, but the Frenchman finally declined to agree to personal terms with the club.
Al Hilal has also rehired former Sporting CP and Benfica manager Jorge Jesus, who led Fenerbahce to the Turkish Cup victory last season, the club's first in nine years.
Osimhen, made headlines last season with Napoli when he scored 31 goals and provided five assists in all competitions as the Serie A club won its first league title in 36 years.
Last season, Al Hilal finished third in the league with 59 points from 33 games.
