- Base Team picks: Ganga Sridhar Raju, Hari Nishaanth, Washington Sundar, Swapnil Singh, J Kousik, Gurjanpreet Singh
Wicketkeeper
- K Mani Bharathi is the selected in over 90% of the teams but his batting position is not fixed. If he gets an opportunity to bat, he has the potentia to score runs quickly as an attacking batter.
- S Lokeshwarbatted at Number 4 in the last match. He had a very good 2019 season prior to the COVID break, after which, he had limited opportunities. He is only 25 and has a good potential to make a comeback in the league. Consider him as a differential.
Batter
- Ganga Sridhar Raju and Hari Nishaanth have been consistent performers for their teams for many years - they will featre in our base team.
- Seemigly, Daryl Ferrario is the only other quality option in this section due to his allround value. He ia a batter with a good potential and can also bowl a couple of overs of his off spin.
- Jafar Jamal was pushed down the order after starting the season as an opener. He is a tall batter with an attacking approach but due to the uncertainity with his batting position, he is not a reliable fantasy pick.
Allrounder
- Washington Sundar, Swapnil Singh, J Kousik have been in good form and are part of our base team.
- R Rajkumar and Antony Dhas are similar kind of players, but Rajkumar is in better batting form. They can pick up the odd wicket in every match. Between the two, Rajukumar is the safer pick.
- Monish Satish, who is selected in just 2% of the teams, batted in the top 4 and he has also had success with his left arm spin in TNPL. Although if Sndar and Nishaanth are batting together, we might see less of his bowling in this match.
Bowler
- Gurjanpreet Singh is the default pick in this section and Murugan Ashwin due to his IPL experience will be a preffered choice.
- If SMP bowls first, it is not a bad idea to load up on their bowlers as BT are the weakest team in this season of TNPL.
- Ajay Krishna's opportunities have been limited this season but he picked up 4 wickets in his first match. He is also a death overs bowler and can be a good differential pick in your teams as he is selected in only 35% of teams, currently.
- As we have seen previously, Trichy struggles against away spin bowling types and particularly, left arm orthodox spin. Madurai has a very good differential spinner in P Saravanan who can become a difference maker for your team in this match, as he is selected in just 16.3% of the teams.
