Points to consider

  • Unless there is an entirely different pitch on offer this season, we should ideally rely less on batters and prefer backing all-rounders along with the bowlers due to the Salem being a low-scoring ground.   • Rahil Shah with his controlled line and lengths can dominate on this pitch if it is slow and tricky for the batters. Along with him, Chepauk has M Silamabarasan, who is another quality spinner. Rahiil Shah makes a good case for a differential C/VC while Mohan Prasath can be picked as a differential in your team.
