Pitch Report: Bengaluru is considered to be a great venue for batters due to the size and altitude of the venue, which is generally the case. However, we saw a slower and dryer surface in the last match and we saw that the run scoring was not straightforward.
At the same time, the last match can be considered as one of the rare cases where we did not see a high scoring game at the venue - it was the lowest score in ODI history at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Points to Consider
Matt Henry has been ruled out of World Cup 2023 due to a hamstring tear and Kyle Jamieson has been added to the squad as his replacement. Additionally, there has not been any confirmation regarding Kane Williamson's availability to start in this match.
Will Young has been in decent form for New Zealand heading into the World Cup and he had a decent series against Pakistan earlier this year (where he averaged 48). At a venue like Chinnaswamy, there is always a risk in dropping top-order batters and additionally, he has a very good record against left-arm pace when he faces Shaheen Afridi with the new ball.
Will Young vs Left Arm Pace in ODIs since 2023 (Powerplay): Inns - 15, Outs - 3, Balls - 189, Avg/SR - 50/79. On the other hand, he has had some issues against right arm pace comparatively. Consider him as a differential pick as he is selected in just 23% of the teams - that is if Kane Williamson remains unavailable.
In the absence of Matt Henry, we see a good differential opportunity with a 20.5% selected Tim Southee. In normal circumstances, he would be a default pick but after his return from injury, he has been largely ignored by most fantasy managers and this gives us a chance to take advantage of his low selection. Even the new addition to the squad, Kyle Jamieson is returning from a back injury.

Points to Consider
After Fakhar Zaman's inclusion in place of Imam ul Haq where he scored a stunning half-century attacking the opposition bowling attack, we expect the management to stick with him at the top of the order. He averages close to 60 against New Zealand in ODIs including a very good series earlier this year on flat Pakistan pitches. Similarly, Chinnaswamy might suit his style of batting.
When these two sides met in the Warm-up matches, Saud Shakeel, batting at Number 5 scored 75 runs at 133 Strike rate and guided the team with a much needed acceleration towards the end overs. Despite New Zealand's weakened bowling with injuries, they have enough quality to pick up wickets and there is a good chance for Saud to bat. Try him as a punt - he is selected in just 11.9% of teams.
Pakistan have the best record against left-arm orthodox spin in ODIs in 2023 among the WC 2023 - they average 79! (the second best team is South Africa with 46.9 Average). Rizwan (202 Avg), Babar Azam (116 Avg) and Fakhar Zaman (48.5 Avg) are their best batters who will be expected to counter Mitchell Santner and Rachin Ravindra in this match.
If Kane Williamson does not play, New Zealand will have 3 left handers in their top 5 which once again presents Pakistan with an opportunity to use Iftikhar Ahmed's off spin value in addition to his big hitting at Chinnaswamy. He is selected in 30% of the temas - back him as a differential.
