🗓 It seems that The International 2023 in Seattle will happen in late October.

According to a reddit post, here’s how it will be:
♻️ Group Stage: Oct 12-15
⚔️ Playoffs: Oct 20-22
🧿 Finals: Oct 27-29
That is, three breaks. pic.twitter.com/AA7i29CN14
However, this hasn't always been the case. In the past, when TI followed a faster format, the venues would be filled with enthusiastic fans from the start of the playoffs until the very end. Many Dota 2 fans in attendance would stay throughout the entire day, demonstrating their dedication. While this format may not be optimal for viewers at home, it does provide some benefits for the participating players, allowing them some breathing room.
Having constant Dota matches throughout an event can make it challenging for teams to refine their strategies. The introduction of longer breaks between matches in the new format provides teams that advance to the next rounds with more time to prepare for their upcoming opponents.
The schedule for TI12 has been announced, with the event set to commence on October 12, 2023. The group stage will conclude on October 15, and the playoffs will kick off on October 20. The finals are scheduled to take place from October 27 to 29.
