The PMGC 2023 is divided into various stages, ensuring intense competition over several weeks:

Group Green: November 2nd - 5th
Group Red: November 9th - 12th
Group Yellow: November 16th - 19th
Survival Stage: November 22nd - 24th
Last Chance: November 25th - 26th
Grand Finals: December 8th - 10th
 

PMGC 2023 Format

The tournament features a multifaceted format, providing ample opportunities for teams to prove their mettle:

League Stage: November 2nd to 26th

Group Stage: From November 2nd to 19th, 48 teams are divided into 3 groups of 16. Each group plays for four days, with 6 matches per day. The top 3 teams from each group proceed to the Grand Finals, while teams from 4th to 11th move to the Survival Stage, and the bottom 5 teams are eliminated.

Survival Stage: Held from November 22nd to 24th, 24 teams are grouped into 3 groups of 8, playing in a round-robin format. Each group competes in 6 matches daily for 3 days. The top 16 teams advance to the Last Chance stage, and the remaining 8 exit the event.

Last Chance: Occurs on November 25th and 26th, where the 16 teams compete in 12 matches. The top 5 teams proceed to the Grand Finals, while the remaining 11 bid adieu.

Grand Finals: The epic conclusion unfolds from December 8th to 10th, with the top 14 teams from the Group Stage and 2 directly invited teams clashing in 18 matches over three days.
