G2 Esports, w7m esports, Oxygen Esports, and Team Falcons have received invitations to participate in the Gamers8 tournament. Additionally, M80, Team BDS, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and CYCLOPS athlete gaming have earned their spots by emerging victorious in their respective Gamers Without Borders regional competitions.

Dates and Format

The tournament is scheduled to commence on July 13 and conclude on July 16. Here is the schedule for Gamers8:

• Group Stage: July 13 to July 14
• Semi-finals: July 15
• Grand Final: July 16

During the group stage, teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket format. Following that, the top four rosters will advance to the single-elimination playoffs. All matches except the grand final will be best-of-three (BO3) games, while the grand final itself will be a best-of-five (BO5) showdown.

Groups

Earlier this week, the Gamers8 tournament revealed the group allocations for the initial phase of the competition.

Group A consists of G2 Esports, the reigning world champions of Rainbow Six Siege, who will be facing off against Ninjas in Pyjamas, M80, and Team Falcons.

In Group B, w7m esports, the grand finalists of Six Invitational 2023 and champions of BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, will be joined by Oxygen Esports, Team BDS, and CYCLOPS athlete gaming.
