The young kid presented the bracelet to Kohli, who promptly wore it in front of the girl's family, without any delay. This heartwarming gesture by Virat Kohli moved the girl's father to tears.

He said: “It’s a family reunion. We love cricket. We are a family full off cricket lovers. This is the best time to be over here.”

“It was really kind of him to come over here, because my daughter did make him a bracelet and he was really nice… you know it brings tears to my eyes that he was so down to earth coming over here wearing the bracelet in front of us and taking pictures,” he added

The girl also looked over the moon after giving the bracelet to Kohli. She said: “I was screaming Kohli. He came over and I gave him my bracelet that I made with my hands.”

Indian captain Rohit Sharma and other players also shared some moments with the fans

Besides Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav also took the time to give autographs and snap selfies with the enthusiastic fan.

Both Kohli and Rohit were given rest in the second ODI to assess the bench strength. However, India faced a defeat in the second ODI, losing by six wickets to the West Indies.

In the first match on Thursday, India secured a five-wicket victory over the West Indies. The final ODI of the three-match series is scheduled for Tuesday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. Following that, the teams are set to engage in a five-match T20 series, commencing on Friday.

During the preceding two-test series, India emerged victorious with a 1-0 win. The second test at Queen’s Park Oval ended in a draw as the fifth day was washed out, while India dominated with an innings win in Dominica.
