PCB Chairman has returned to Pakistan after visiting India

Meanwhile, the news agency PTI reported that Zaka Ashraf, PCB's cricket management committee chairman, has returned from India and is engaged in a series of meetings with senior board officials to discuss his visit to India.

A source was quoted as saying, "Zaka Ashraf was himself present at Ahmedabad for the match against India and was witness to some incidents which have left him unhappy, despite the Indian cricket officials extending him a warm welcome after his visit there."

The source further indicated that Zaka was greatly disappointed with the performance of the Pakistani team against India and, before his return, advised the players to put the Ahmedabad defeat behind them and focus on their remaining matches.

Earlier, Pakistan's team director, Mickey Arthur, voiced concerns about the crowd behaviour and its impact on his team following their defeat to India.

ICC Chairman Greg Barclay responded by assuring that the sport's world governing body is doing its utmost to ensure the success of the World Cup.
