OG was eliminated from the $425,000 CS:GO tournament after losing 0-2 to Ninjas in Pyjamas at the BLAST Premier Fall Final today, but their star rifler Shahar “flameZ” Shushan provided a highlight that fans won’t soon forget.
The timing was perfect in flameZ’s advantage as NiP’s es3tag was approaching near Wood. The Israeli rookie was run-boosted by his teammate Maciej “F1KU” Miklas from Vertigo’s T Spawn right into the B bombsite’s Stairwell. The most amazing thing about this highlight is how OG had the guts to execute this tricky mechanical play just as NiP had entered map point territory.
We can determine that the play wasn’t probably written on the spot based on how it was structured. Nexa and Degster rushed the bombsite to divert flameZ while F1KU run-boosted flameZ to the B bombsite. That was successful since one of the NiP guys protecting B was also killed by Nexa.
Commentator Anders Blume noted in the broadcast that OG deserved this round because to their brave play right after the play was made and they gained a five-vs-three advantage. Although OG had won the previous round, they ultimately lost the next, and NiP easily won 16-10 to win the best-of-three series.
The pros have developed these unfathomable runboosts since Vertigo joined CS:GO’s Active Duty map pool in March 2019, but the one created by OG is arguably the most epic ever made.
