Ireland and New Zealand are crossing swords with each other in their last match of Super 12 round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The game saw the second hat-trick of the tournament being recorded as young Left arm fast bowler Joshua Little picks up the second hat trick of the marquee event that is currently being played in Australia. The 23 year old sent opponent team’s captain Kane Williamson, Jimmy Neesham, and Mitchell Santner back to the hut in a span of three deliveries.

Little became only the sixth bowler ever to take a hat-trick in the history of the T20 World Cup. He achieved the feat during the 19th over of the New Zealand’s innings. The hat trick reduced New Zealand from 174/3 to 174/6. Before this over, it seemed that New Zealand would post a big total on the board and would take it to 195+. But that three runs over with three wickets in three balls hamper their chances as they could manage only 184 runs on the board. He is the second bowler for Ireland overall to pick up a hat trick after Curtis Campher achieved this feat in last T20 World Cup in 2021

Many fans and pundits lauded him for his sensational performance to achieve the feat. Here are some of the reactions:
