Since it will last until January 2023, the 2022 Dota 2 battle pass has a slightly different structure than the previous few years. The second instalment of the battle pass content was slated for release on November 3 after Valve decided to release it in waves. Robson “TeaGuvnor” Merritt has once again put himself on the front lines for the community, even though the developer still has until the end of the day to release Diretide and everything included in Part II of the Dota 2 battle pass.
The British streamer declared that up until Valve releases the second batch of content, he will go live on Twitch and say the word “Diretide.”
On September 1, TeaGuvnor pulled off a similar prank by repeatedly saying “battle pass,” just as the community was anticipating the release of the 2022 battle pass. Before the battle pass became accessible during that time, the adored panellist uttered the word “battle pass” 16,905 times.
Since TeaGuvnor published a roadmap, it appears that he wants to make this a yearly event. The word “Diretide” has been used on stream more than 8,000 times as of the time of writing.
