According to a report by Brazilian outlet The Enemy, LOUD, the victor of VALORANT Champions 2022, is in advanced talks to acquire two Brazilian players: Cauan “cauanzin” Pereira of Ninjas in Pyjamas and Arthur “tuyz” Vieira of TBK.
Both participants are free to consider their options for 2023. According to Dot Esports, if the deal is approved, cauanzin and tuyz would replace Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, who are on their way to Sentinels.
Should Cauanzin and tuyz join LOUD for VCT 2023, they would play alongside Erick “aspas” Santos, Matias “saadhak” Delipetro, and Felipe “Less” de Loyola. According to The Enemy, the Brazilian organisation has reportedly lost Sacy and pANcada but has come to an agreement to keep the core of aspas, saadhak, and Less.
The Enemy claims that the agreement will be completed prior to October 15. Riot Games has given partnered teams until this date to submit their starting lineups for VCT 2023, which must include at least three players.
Since 2020, Tuyz has played VALORANT professionally. He was recently added to TBK’s inactive roster along with the other players. According to VLR.gg’s statistics, he was signed by TBK on December 2021 and has primarily played as Jett over the last 90 days.
While NiP permitted all of its players to consider their options in September, Cauanzin has been searching for a new team ever since. He had been representing NiP since January 2022, and according to data from VLR.gg, he had played 94 rounds with Sova during the previous three months, averaging 275.8 ACS.
To compete against Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, NRG, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, MIBR, KRÜ Esports, and Leviatán in the Americas Partnership League in 2023.
