New Zealand – Fantasy Notes

  • According to Cricinfo, Mitchell Santner was likely to join the squad by the weekend, after his paternity leave. If he returns, he is likely to replace Mark Chapman in the lineup.
  • Blair Tickner is the 6th highest wicket-taker at this venue since 2018. Pick him as a differential in your team if he plays in this match.
  • While Finn Allen has similar struggles to left-arm spin like the experienced Martin Guptill, but has seemed to do well against wrist-spin and right-arm pace. Pick him as a differential in your teams if New Zealand bat first as his his attacking approach could fetch you plenty of points.
  • Load up on at least three pacers from the team that bowls first, especially in Grand League combinations.

Pakistan – Fantasy Notes

  • Despite his failure in the last match, back Shan Masood to do well in conditions favouring pace. Pick him as a differential in your team, he is selected in just 21% of the teams,
  • After the success of promoting Shadab Khan to Number 4 in the last match, Pakistan will have found the right batter to accelerate their innings post-powerplay. If he continues to bat at 4, he becomes an excellent all-round fantasy asset. Given him the c/vc particularly if he bats in the first innings.
  • Haris Rauf is an excellent option for the captaincy particularly if he bowls in the first innings. He has been picking up wickets consistently at the death – a skill he could exploit in these conditions.
