The New Zealand Cricket Board released their official jersey on Thursday for the T20 World Cup 2022, that starts in Australia in less than a month time.
The announcement was made when the Blackcaps took to their social media platform and made an announcement. Before the marquee tournament, the jersey was revealed in a social media post with the caption: “Our T20WorldCup shirt is here.”
The kit predominantly features black and grey color with white stripes being added to the shirt as a new design. The logo of the New Zealand Cricket is printed on the top left side with T20 Men’s T20 World Cup printed on the right side of the jersey.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to commence on October 16 with the group stage matches from where the four teams will qualify for the Super 12 round. The Super 12 round will start from October 22 and the final is set to take place on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Kane Williamson-led New Zealand cricket team starts its campaign with a game against the home team Australia on October 23rd.
