Pakistan – Fantasy Notes

  • If Shadab Khan is back in the lineup, he is likely to slot in the place of Usman Qadir.
  • Pick Usman Qadir/Shadab Khan in your team and in particular if they bowl in the second innings as they will have a good total to defend. The English RHBs struggle against this bowling type while the LHBs will look to attack them, which creates opportunities for wickets.
  • Haider Ali struggles against Left-arm pace bowling types and the matchup is not in his favour as the English bowling attack will likely feature at least 2 left-arm pacers. He has a good record against spin bowling types.
  • Ifthikar Ahmed did not bowl in the last match but he still remains the only off-spin option against an England team with multiple LHBs in the middle order.

England – Fantasy Notes

  • Will Jacks is likely to play in this match as well and Alex Hales will remain on the bench until Jos Buttler is back for the Lahore leg, where the duo will open the batting together.
  • According to Cricinfo, Mark Wood could be rested after making a stunning return from injury in the 3rd T20I and Olly Stone is likely to replace him. Sam Curran could also be rested for David Willey.
  • The lack of off-spin used by Pakistan against English LHBs helps the case for picking Dawid Malan and Ben Duckett in fantasy teams as they strike the other balls coming into them very well.
  • Pick Adil Rashid in your teams and in particular in the second innings. The middle order of Pakistan struggles against the wrist spin bowling type.
  • Pick at least 2 pacers from the team bowling 1st especially the ones who could bowl at the death. PAK – Haris Rauf, Shahnawaz Dahani, Naseem ShahENG – Sam Curran, Mark Wood/Olly Stone, Reece Topley
