Sidemen and Youtubers locked horns for a football charity game which racked up record breaking support.
Charlton’s The Valley stadium played host to the annual Sidemen charity game. The Sidemen and some of their friends teamed up to take on a select list of Youtubers from all over the world. As expected, the stadium got sold out long before the matchday.
As many as 15 goals were scored by both the sides as the game finished on a thrilling note with a scoreline of 8-7. Sidemen FC’s leader of the attack Miniminter stole the show by scoring a hat-trick and assisting 3 goals as well.
Youtube stars drew the first blood as Chunkz scored a stunner from outside the box to make it 1-0. Niko added another one 3 minutes later to make it 2-0. Vikkstar and TBJZL brought the scoreline to level terms, which was followed by a screamer scored by Yung Filly. Sidemen completed a comeback in the dying moments of the game to trump Youtube All stars FC.
American Youtuber Ishowspeed wasn’t short of his usual antics as he constantly entertained the fans throughout the game. It was just a matter of time before Speed plunged into KSI and celebrated the tackle in a pumped up manner. His only goal of the game got disallowed but his celebration made the whole ground chant ‘SUIIIIII’.
